One Tesla Model X P100D crossover SUV was gently nudged on the Palm Beach International Raceway days ago to face a white beast. Musk’ car model with Ludicrous mode comes at 5,4000 pounds, so it really weighs more than a feather. On the other hand, the Aventador is 1,200 pounds lighter, the difference between them making it a bit of an unfair match.

But it was never about balance, right? It’s about muscle and speed. So, believe it or not, the two vehicles raced against each other in a 1/4 mile drag racing battle, that we got to see thanks to DragTimes.  Before you put your bet on the Lamborghini, do check the video:

Believe it or not, the Tesla Model X P100D beat the expensive race car by .05 of a second! Meanwhile, it established a new world record for the quickest SUV, clocking in at 11.418 seconds at about 118 mph (189 kmph).
