Many waited for Apple’s AirPower to launch but, with the cancellation of that product, Tesla moved in to fill the gap with their own Qi charger.
For $300, you can have an AirPower alternative that wirelessly charges up to three devices at the same time.
And, like the promise of the AirPower according to those leaks, the Tesla Wireless Charging Platform comes with “FreePower”. That means you can put your devices to charge anywhere on it, without having to be careful with positioning.
“Inspired by the angular design and metallic styling of Cybertruck, our Wireless Charging Platform provides 15W of fast charging power per device for up to three devices simultaneously. Its sleek design is composed of an aluminum housing, premium alcantara surface and a detachable magnetic stand that allows you to lay the charger flat or at an angle for better viewing,” says Tesla.
The Tesla Wireless Charging Platform has a detachable magnetic stand, an integrated USB-C cable and a 65W USB-C adapter.
Pre-orders are open now and shipping will start in February 2023.
