When designing their products, Samsung’s goal was always to empower users to make healthier choices, and the Galaxy Watch4 series is the latest design that integrates health and fitness features to support that goal.
The new design delivers a holistic suite of health features, an all-new OS and UI, and enhanced hardware performance. Among the most interesting ones is the new Body Composition measurement tool that finds your skeletal muscle and body fat percentage measurements instantly, from your wrist.
Due to its groundbreaking BioActive Sensor, the design is now more compact and smaller and doesn’t diminish its measurement accuracy.
The watch runs three powerful health sensors — Optical Heart Rate, Electrical Heart, and Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis for blood pressure, to detect an AFib irregular heartbeat, measure blood oxygen level, and calculate body composition. This new tool offers users a deeper perception of their in regards to skeletal muscle, basal metabolic rate, body water, and body fat percentage – with just a gesture, using just two fingers.
The watch comes with more conducted workouts than ever, and group challenges to use with family and friends. Watch4 series offers a comprehensive picture of your sleep patterns – Sleep Scores – with even greater detail than before. The connected smartphone recognizes the sounds of users’ snores and gets to measure the blood oxygen level while sleeping.
While the minimalist option designed for all-day use comes in 40mm and 44mm for $249.99 for Bluetooth versions and $299.99 for LTE models, the premium one starts at $349.99.
