The Oura Ring, one of the most unique wearables in town, is now up to its third generation and adds a whole host of fitness features.
The Oura Ring Gen 3 smart ring debuts blood oxygen monitoring and updates its heart and temperature detections to better deal with fluctuations.
The smart ring also now has women’s health tracking, with menstrual cycle prediction, so it can compete with classic fitness trackers from the likes of Fitbit or Apple.
Costing between $300 and $400, this is not necessarily the cheapest option for those functions, especially considering Oura just introduced a subscription as well.
The Oura Ring Gen 3 needs a $6 monthly subscription to work, showing you health insights in its app.
Fortunately, it comes with 6 months free, which makes this attractive and discreet wearable even more attractive. If you previously owned an Oura ring, you won’t need to pay the current subscription, as that will be included free.
Pre-orders are open now, with shipping starting in mid-November.
