The V-Moda M-200 headphones have long been a super popular choice for audiophiles and gamers, with some even considering them cult classics.
Now, for CES 2021, the makers announced the V-Moda M-200 ANC where, you guessed it, this popular model finally gets active noise cancellation! Even better, they’re now also wireless with the added bonus of Bluetooth.
Still, these new features will not come cheap.
While the classic wired V-Moda M-200 retail for around $350 (without adding the price of those custom hexagonal plates you can put on them), the V-Moda M-200 ANC start at $499, a significant increase.
Under the hood, the V-Moda M-200 ANC are a bit different too, swapping the 50 mm drivers from the wired version for 40 mm ones and adding new playback, power and pairing buttons.
Even though they cut the regular cord and charge via USB-C, the V-Moda M-200 ANC are also a bit heavier than the wired V-Moda M-200 (320 g vs 290g).
Still, if you love the V-Moda M-200 design and its unlimited personalization opportunities offered by the custom aluminum shields but also needed wireless headphones with ANC, this is the model you’ve been waiting for.
