After all the Apple-picking of the last couple of days, it’s time to look inside Samsung’s orchard. The South Korean giant is getting ready to launch the Galaxy Note 6 this summer, with fellow countrymen saying the big unveil will take place in July. Moreover, many speculate that the phablet will have Android N installed.
Given the fact that the previous Note was launched during summertime too and that Google has confirmed that Android N will be available for OEMs soon, odds are rumors will come true. The only thing that is a concern for users is the fact that no leaks, in terms of renders or photos, have shown up on the Internet.
What has been on the rumor mill so far:
- 5.8-inch screen with a QHD (2560×1440) display
- Samsung Exynos 8890 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor
- 6 GB of RAM
- 3500-4000 mAh battery
- microSD support
- USB Type C
Besides all the above, Ubergizmo indicates a laptop docking station might be in order. A patent filing shows the idea of using a phablet as a touchpad and power-provider for the dock.
