The Tokyo Olympics are in full swing and besides world-class athletes, a robot has made its presence felt. More than that, actually: the machine stole the show and broke Twitter with dazzling basketball three throws.

During this 2021 Olympics, Toyota’s CUE robot came on stage, ready to show basketball fans how it’s done. The robot was created by Toyota in 2018 but has cine been updated. CUE3, its third iteration, actually set a Guinness record and the one, now, stole folks’ hearts.

During Sunday’s showdown between the USA and France, CUE lightened up the mood. The 6-foot-10-inch-tall robot was recorded sinking free throws and even a three-point shot!
