The successor to the P30 and P30 Pro, Huawei P40 Pro is expected to be revealed next year, and a few of its specs were disclosed in a tweet recently, and it points out a battery-related innovation.
According to this tweet – which is purely speculation – the Chinese Giant may launch the graphene technology for its upcoming flagship. This technology is supposed to make it more performant, speeding up charging and also keep its volume quite compact. The graphene battery with 5500mAh capacity fully charges in just 45 minutes due to its 50W fast charge system.
The reason behind this battery performance is the unique graphene which has a key role in reducing the operating temperature of the battery and improving the cell’s lifespan. Although its benefits, the technology is quite new haven’t been widely explored.
The upcoming Huawei P40 will look a bit like the Mate 3 Pro, integrating a 6.5-inch OLED screen with a dual hole-punch selfie camera, with a 120Hz refresh rate and many more other exciting specs to be disclosed.
