Razer had plenty to show at CES, from the incredible Tomahawk modular PC that’s smaller than a mousepad to the Razer Kishi, a new mobile controller.
And that’s not to mention that amazing gaming setup for racing games!
The company also wants to occupy some space in your living room with the Razer Sila 5G Home router.
This 5G Router looks incredibly sleek, kind of like an Echo Plus, and promises to upgrade your gaming sessions.
Using Razer’s proprietary FasTrack engine, it has a continuously adaptive QoS (quality of service) feature that monitors your traffic and prioritizes bandwidth for gaming and streaming.
The Razer Sila 5G Router also lets you prioritize devices manually, deciding priorities between consoles over Smart TV or vice versa, and it can operate as a mesh network as well.
Even better, it as a built-in rechargeable battery and SIM card, so it doubles as a mobile 5G hotspot.
Here are the complete specs:
Qualcomm SDX55 + Hawkeye IPQ8072A
5G NR (Sub-6 and mmWave), and 4G LTE
Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax 4×4
1 x 2.5Gbps WAN, 4 x 1Gbps LAN, 1 x USB 3.0 port

Mesh Node Specifications:

What we don’t know is when the new Razer Sila 5G Home Router will be available but something tells us that’s going to happen very soon.
Perhaps before next month’s Mobile World Congress?
