What do you do when your buddies have bigger tools than you? You make yours gigantic! One YouTuber went above and beyond and crafted what’s probably the world’s biggest battery, a device capable of charging 5,000 phones.
YouTuber Handy Geng took the tech world by storm with his DYI powerbank project. The man welded a metal frame and made a 27 million mAh powerbank. What’s crazier is that he made it somehow portable, in the end.
The Geng powerbank has the capacity of about 900 normal powerbanks and is able to charge around 5,000 phones.
The shell of the battery is around 6 feet by 4 but Geng insists it can be carried around with you. Of course, you won’t be able to put it in your pocket or backpack but if you’re strong and have a rope, nothing is impossible.
The YouTuber even found a nice use for it. He spent a day of TV, cooking and laundry by the river, with all the different consumer electronics being powered by his creation.
