Blade is the name of the world’s first 3D-printed hypercar and it looks out of this world!
Inspired from a jet fighter design, Blade by Divergent 3D, a Los Angeles-based startup, is made from aerospace-grade carbon fiber and aluminum alloys.
The Blade car is a lightweight machine featuring a 3D-printed chassis of just 102lbs (46kg).
Divergent 3D has plenty of resources to sustain such a project, as Hong Kong billionaire Li Ka-Shing backs up the factory which consists of creating automotive parts designed to be environmental-friendly in terms of car production.
The fully-road legal car has an in-line cabin which surprises with an aviation-like seating.
However, the cost of the fancy car or its capabilities remains to be seen.
