Night Mode is a popular feature and standard on many devices that use screens. Microsoft is getting in on this trend by reportedly adding a Night Mode feature for its Xbox consoles.
In a report by The Verge, Alpha Skip-Ahead participants received a preview build for Xbox OS which included a new Night Mode feature. Some basic features included Dark Mode, scales for dimming and filtering blue light, and adjusting controller power button brightness. Additionally there was an enable/disable HDR option for when Night Mode was enabled.
There was also a schedule feature, which allows Night Mode to be turned on either at sunset (and off at sunrise) or at a specific time.
It is unclear when the feature will be available to the wider public, but it is cool to see the company working on implementing this feature.
