Xiaomi Mi 10 5G was already one of the best phones of 2020 but the company just unveiled an even better model to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
Meet the top-of-the-line Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra, a flagship device that is already getting acclaim.
According to DxOMark, it’s the absolute champion when it comes to cameras, with an 120x zoom – the phone is number 1 in rankings, surpassing the Huawei P40 pro.
The Mi 10 Ultra achieves this by combining the 48 mp primary sensor with a F 1/1.85 with a /2.0” 48MP F/4.1 periscope with 5x optical and a whopping 120x hybrid zoom, a 20 MP ultrawide sensor with 13 mm focal length and a 12 MP telephoto lens.
The setup is capable of shooting 8K video both on the primary and telephoto cams!
The Mi 10 Ultra also takes it up a notch in terms of battery.
The 4500 mAh battery comes with the 120W Mi Turbo Charge, which can fill up the battery in just 20 minutes.
Even better, the phone also supports 50W wireless fast charging, which still leaves other flagships in the dust.
For those worried the extra charging speed might mean battery degradation, Xiaomi says the graphene-based lithium-ion battery in the Mi 10 Ultra will have at least 90% capacity after 800 charging cycles.
There is also LiquidCool 2.0 vapor chamber to keep it cool during charging and use.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra has a curved 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display with an 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling and 800 nits of brightness.
Under the hood, it pairs the Snapdragon 865+ with 8, 12 or 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128, 256, or 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
As for the device’s looks, the phone will be available in Obsidian Black and Mercury Silver, both with ceramic backs, or the gorgeous, limited Transparent Edition.
The phone starts at $760 and goes up to around $1000 for China pricing.
The phone will start selling there on August 16 – there’s no word yet when the device will show up internationally.
