According to Economic Daily News, the Giant is cooking something special, and by that, we mean two foldable phones. Yes, Apple is kind of late to the party but is still trying to catch up with two prototypes which – and according to the report – have already passed internal durability tests at the Foxconn factory.
So you are probably wondering how would a foldable iPhone look like. Well, it seems like one of the phones is a vertically-folding device, that resembles Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip while the other integrates a dual-screen with two arrays connected by a hinge.
There is no word as to when Apple will unveil the two foldable designs, but rumors suggest the launch will happen in late 2022 or 2023.
Apple isn’t exactly new to the concept of a foldable or a dual-screen design, as the Giant was granted a patent for such a device three years ago. Moreover, a report in 2018 suggested the company was planning to launch a foldable phone in 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic wasn’t a good time for business.
