If you ever accidentally dropped your phone down the toilet and had to say goodbye to it forever, then this news might make you choose your next phone wiser.
An iPhone 11 Pro survived being sunk in the bottom of a Canadian lake and still worked, after being fished out 30 days later.
That’s right, an iPhone spent a month underwater with no damage whatsoever.
This unbelievably durable phone belongs to Angie Carriere (pictured above).
She was spending her birthday fishing on Waskesiu Lake when she accidentally dropped her iPhone 11 Pro.
Most people would have let it sleep with the fishes but Carriere went back to search for the iPhone three times.
The third time, she managed to spot it and fished it out by attaching a magnet to her fishing line.
The big surprise? It still worked!
Somehow, despite the IP68 rating, which means the iPhone 11 Pro can handle spending 30 minutes tops in a depth of water of maximum 4 meters, this person’s phone still works after 30 days in a frozen lake.
How’s that for a durability test?
