According to these new leaks, Motorola is planning to launch a premium Motorola Edge X phone. It was about time, since the company seemed dedicated to the midrange alone!
The latest Edge phone will reportedly have a 144Hz OLED display and the next-gen flagship Qualcomm chipset, the Snapdragon 898.
According to 91Mobiles and @OnLeaks, this is a phone with a huge, flat 6.6-inch OLED display with an 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support.
But that’s not every flagship feature!
Apparently, the Motorola Edge X might have the highest number of MPs in a selfie camera nowadays: 60 MP!
On the back, it will have a triple camera setup with a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50A primary lens, a 50MP Samsung JN150 ultrawide sensor and a 2MP OmniVision OV20B1B depth sensor.
Such specs demand a lot of processing power and the Motorola Edge X spares no expense there either.
It will have 8GB and 12GB LPDDR5x RAM with 128 GB or 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage and will use Android 11 with a Motorola UI.
All of it is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with 68W fast charge. In terms of connectivity, there’s 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and USB Type-C for charging.
Not too shabby!
Right now Motorola hasn’t confirmed the leak but we expect an announcement very soon, so stay tuned for updates.
