Samsung will be coming out with three new models for its Galaxy S line anniversary and apparently they will all have different fingerprint scanners.
The incoming models, so far known only as Beyond 0, Beyond 1 and Beyond 2, might feature the long-awaited fingerprint on-display scanner but apparently, it’s the Beyond 0, which is the budget option out of the three, that will be the one who will supposedly have the fingerprint scanner on the side of the phone.
The sensor will most likely be located on the right edge.
Of course, it’s the fingerprint-on-display sensor that will steal the show and it will also mark the company’s first attempt at the technology. In addition, it also comes with a bigger price tag: about $15 per sensor, compared to the $2 price for a regular one.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 is still a long time away from its official debut so, as always, readers are advised: take the rumors with a bit more than a pinch of salt.
