Android Nougat is coming with all sorts of sweet surprises. Some of them regard the Google Camera (aaand a cat game/Easter Egg). In the new OS version, you’ll be able to switch between cameras with a simple hand gesture instead of a tap #mobilemagic
According to Android Authority, the fifth Nougat developer preview has shown that to swap between front and rear camera you simple have to double twist the phone. The gesture is similar to the one Moto X featured when you wanted to open the cam – like shaking the device – and after a couple of tries, it’s going to become second nature. Think about the way you move your wristwatch to see the time without using your other hand – it’s the same!
Plus, this time Google Camera is going to allow you to pause video recordings, a crucial feature if you’re prone to multiple “takes”.
If that sounds interesting, gohere to get the latest version of Google Camera.
