It’s that time of the year and Android fans know it: Google is likely to launch a new version.

XDA-Developers’ Mishaal Rahman noticed that Google just opened the issue tracker for the Android Q Beta and, inside of it, found that March 11 is the likely launch date.

Yes, it’s highly likely that Android Q is coming today.

In even better news, one Googler, Iliyan Malchev, spilled the beans in a podcast and said that “the number [of companies in the beta] is bigger”, which means a lot of people will be getting the chance to test Android Q later today.

Last year, those who entered the beta owned devices from Essential, OnePlus, Nokia, Xiaomi, Vivo, Sony and Oppo. It’s unknown if big players like Samsung or Huawei will be on the list but we’d like to see companies like Moto, Redmi or LG.

In any case, stay tuned, official confirmation is likely due soon.
