Pokemon Go showed us just one side of what can be done with augmented reality. Chasing pokemons is a fun adventure, but what if this other reality could transport you in a horror movie, indoors? Night Terrors is a game that wants to bring monsters and scary experiences wherever you are #realitymagic
The idea behind the game is to use the gadgets you already own – a smartphone, and even an Apple Watch – to fuel your adrenaline surge. The app will first map your house and use that data against you, meaning it will create custom scares and events. Your phone will even act strangely at times, sending you scary texts and photos instead of the proverbial call from The Ring movies.
If you own an Apple Watch and really want to bring out the bad in Night Terrors, just connect the device to the game. It will pick up your heartbeat and play with fear levels accordingly.
After a successful IndieGogo campaign, the game is ready to launch near Halloween this year, for $5.99 on iTunes and the Android Store. You can get a copy of the game on IndieGogo too, for $5.
