This grey cylinder could bring you the smartest latte you’ve ever served, but alas, ASUS is not in that business. At least, not yet. What the ASUS ZenBeam Latte does, however, is pour you a cup of… movie.
At CES 2021, ZenBeam Latte was one of several products ASUS announced, this one focused on home cinema. How does it work? Well, this smart device wirelessly projects content from your phone or from an HDMI device.
It’s a portable projector that’s easy on the eyes and can project on your wall a couple of movies (three hours of video, tops). That’s because the ZenBeam Latte comes with a 6,000mAh battery.
For this light moviespressor 😉, you get a 40-inch picture when projected from a one-meter distance. However, it can go up to 120-inch, if you place it farther away.
It has a brightness of 300 LED lumens and will offer a screen resolution of 720p. The projector is supported by a Harman Kardon speaker and has three audio modes to suit the type of media the user chooses.
ASUS says they will make it available to consumers in the second quarter of the year.
