Audi Creates Hyper Reality Experience To Market the Audi E-Tron

Audi is presenting a futuristic technology to the public via a hyper-reality experience dubbed The E-Tron Room: The Future Paradox. This experience takes the participants through a ride through time, gets them to try out a number of tests before finally reaching their destination: the future. 

The event is being held in Spain and focuses on the Audi E-Tron by “raising the public awareness of its electric propulsion technology“. 

The participants are equipped with motion sensors and VivePro virtual reality glasses in order to go through the trial and challenges of the escape room. The motion capture system features 36 cameras and 28 sensors. 

The algorithm the company works with interprets the movement of the participants in real time and creates a full-scale avatar of them in order for the users to immerse themselves into the experience. 

A real actor plays the role of a robot and he is also the one who acts as an advisor during the trip.

For almost an hour, participants will travel through hyper-reality to a series of points in time until they reach the future. We have worked to create the only multiplayer entertainment experience of its kind in the world, to raise public awareness of Audi’s vision of future mobility” Caita Montserrat, Audi’s Marketing Manager has said of the experience. 

The E-Tron Room: the Future Paradox, will run from October 24th to November 13th, Monday to Sunday, in Madrid. After that, it will be found in Barcelona from January 27th to February 16th. In order to participate, you will have to register over at the E-Tron Room webpage but keep in mind the sessions will take place in groups of 3 or 4 people.
