“The series tells a standalone, 10-episode story about a street kid trying to survive in Night City – a technology and body modification-obsessed city of the future. Having everything to lose, he stays alive by becoming an edgerunner – a mercenary outlaw also known as a cyberpunk,” is the official synopsis of the show.

To make this anime, CD Projekt RED partnered with the prestigious Studio Trigger, the Japanese studio famous for Kill la Kill and Little Witch Academia.
Indeed, director Hiroyuki Imaishi and creative director Hiromi Wakabayashi are taking the lead for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
To truly take it to the next level, the anime will have an original score by Akira Yamaoka, the legendary composer behind the Silent Hill series.
