Elon Musk is planning to open a non-stop Tesla restaurant in Hollywood, California featuring a drive-in movie theater, two 45 ft. LED movie screens, indoor and outdoor seating. Looking for the twist? The all-night open dinner will also be equipped with 28 superchargers for Tesla owners.
The lowest floor of the diner will integrate the kitchen, indoor bar, booths, and outdoor bar area, while the top floor will contain dining areas, a bar and theater-style seating with two movie screens in the parking lot.
According to Yahoo Finance, the Telsa CEO advanced the documentation to the city of Los Angeles this month.
Moreover, an MSN report says that “possibly delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Musk has only just now gotten around to filing the paperwork. Rumor has it that the new venture will be on the site of a Shakey’s pizza location on Santa Monica Boulevard. The new business would likely take advantage of the entire 9,300 square feet worth of space.”
While the current location is now occupied by Shakey’s Pizza Parlor, it will soon be replaced by Tesla’s diner, along with the 29-stall Supercharger station.
