MWC 2018

Energizer Power Max P16K Pro Has The Biggest Battery Ever

Energizer, known for their batteries, announced a new smartphone almost out of nowhere! The Energizer Power Max P16K Pro brings their speciality to the forefront, putting even the Duracell bunny to shame with the smartphone’s amazing 16000 mAh battery.

To put that in perspective, the recently announced Galaxy S9 has a 3,000 mAh battery. Additionally, the phone only needs to be charged once every 5 days. The downside is that the Power Max P16K Pro needs to be fairly heavy and thick to house this battery; coming in at 300 grams and around 15 mm thickness, almost double what the Galaxy S9 is in weight and thickness.

Here are the rest of the Energizer Power Max P16K Pro’s specs:

  • Display: 5.99 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1080 x 2160 px and 18:9 ratio
  • Chipset: Mediatek MT6763T Helio P23
  • RAM: 6 GB
  • Storage: 128 GB (no card slot)
  • Cameras: rear dual 16 MP + 13 MP with video 2160p@30fps, front dual 13 MP + 5 mp 1080p
  • Rear fingerprint reader

While these specs are respectable relative to other smartphone’s coming out of Mobile World Congress 2018, it’s the 16000 mAh battery that truly sets it apart.
