Over 250,000 people have attended IFA last year, in Berlin and at least as many are expected to pick up their badges this fall. Of course, we can’t help but wonder what the 58th IFA edition will bring.

If last time the product launches included the Fitbit Charge 4, Samsung Galaxy Watch, Garmin Vivosmart 4, Skagen Falser 2, here’s what to expect this year:

Fitbit

Considering Versa was released in April 2018, Versa 2 could be announced at IFA.

Garmin

While the manufacturer didn’t offer much on the fitness tracker front this year, focusing on sport smartwatches instead, like Forerunner 45/45S, Forerunner 245/245 Music and Forerunner 945, we could have the Fenix 6 on our hands by the end of August.

Samsung

This year, the company launched Galaxy Watch Active 2, 6 months after the first one. The smartwatch features ECG, a touch-sensitive bezel,as well as an LTE variant. To coincide with the IFA event, fans can preorder the gadget starting 6th of September.

Fossil

We are expecting the new Carlyle HR and Julianna HR to be launched at the event, as these are the manufacturer’s first 5th generation devices. The watches are integrating a built-in speaker, bring long-lasting battery and run on the Snapdragon 3100 processor.

Huawei

The Chinese manufacturer is allegedly working on a new smartwatch. We can only guess it’s going to be Huawei Watch 3, hopefully with a bigger and better screen, and longer battery life.

A new Huawei kids watch may also be in the cards, to follow the Kids Watch 3, Kids Watch 3 Pro and the Disney Kids smartwatch.
