Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & The Blade of Light will be coming to the Nintendo Switch on December 4th.
Shadow Dragon & The Blade of Light is significant because it was the first game in the wildly popular Fire Emblem series. Additionally, it had never been officially released in the US until now.
The game on the Switch will include full English localization. Additionally, there will be a rewind mechanic to go back to a previous turn in case of a misstep.
The game will be available digitally, apparently for a limited time. There is an Anniversary Edition which includes replica game materials, an art book, and more.
Hopefully, this release points to more previously Japanese-only games being localized and brought over to the Switch. Mother 3, anyone?
