Hanmac, a Chinese luxury smartphone and case manufacturer with a design studio in France, announced at MWC Shanghai its plans to also launch their products in India by the end of the year. Mainly, the star of the show would be the Hanmac Bon7, an unique-looking, slightly terrifying smartphone with an actually scary price tag. According to this PriceKart listing, Rs 50.999 or around $2800.

Most of that price will get you a handset that looks straight out of a Sci-fi movie, made of Zirconium, a more durable material than aluminum, accented by 18K rose gold.
Under the hood, the Hanmac Bon7 specs are definitely nothing to phone home about: it’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series chipset and a 3,900 mAh battery, with a single 16 MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera.
Hanmac has been making luxury smartphones of this type for quite some time and told reporters that they plan to sell at least 1.500 of the Bon7 smartphones in India. What do you think, can the company pull it off?
