Nokia 3310 was welcomed with open arms at Mobile World Congress this year. HMD Global returned us the brand’s most iconic phone, durable and dependable. Of course, they gave it a suitable make-over for 2017 – a camera, better display and friendlier user interface. What they didn’t manage to do is enable 3G connectivity, which was a big letdown to most users seeking to use it a secondary phone. But that’s about to change, as HMD Global is set to issue new 3310 phones this fall #mobilemagic
HMD Global is giving us an early Christmas present this year. Next month, the manufacturer will release a new batch of Nokia 3310, this time with 3G connectivity. Finally, you’ll have no problem surfing the Internet. Also, the new phones will feature an improved user interface. Users will be able to choose color themes from six different options and rearrange icons as they please. Also, they’ll enjoy 6.5 hours of talk time.
The new series come with more colors, too. If the first Nokia phones sold in silver, black, orange and yellow, the new ones will include a baby blue option.
HMD wants to sell the 3G Nokia 3310 phones for €69, that’s about $81.
