Huawei’s P30 Pro handset will be unveiled on March 26th, during an event that will be held in Paris but, according to Digital Trends, who managed to obtain a sneak peek at the prototype, the phone made a behind-closed-doors appearance during the Mobile World Congress.
The phone does not seem to differ a lot from the P20 Pro at first glance but the label on the back is similar to Leica’s Summitar 50mm lens badging, so we might see this phone arrive with a 10x zoom camera after all.
There is a three-lens camera setup on the back, which are mounted on the left rear side of the phone but, for the moment, Huawei’s representative, who allowed the photos to be taken, was quiet about them.
On the other hand, the phone doesn’t feature a 3.5mm headphone jack. It does have a USB-C on the bottom and a SIM tray on the top.
Digital Trends stated that they were not allowed to photograph or talk about the front of the phone because the screen was only a dummy unit but these photos will definitely give us a lot to speculate on until either the next leak or the official reveal.
