A new report by EverythingApplePro shows Apple planning some major upgrades for the new iPhone.
According to this Apple Leak from Max Weinbach, Apple has prototypes of the iPhone 12 Pro with 64 MP cameras, a mainstay of 2020 flagships.
Of course, until the iPhone 12 Pro nears launch, prototypes can be modified, so this feature might not show up in the flagship device.
Weinbach believes Apple won’t use a periscope-like lens but will invest further in software, particularly digital cropping and zoom.
According to him, Apple will add Night Mode on the iPhone 12 Pro telephoto camera and, if they manage to overcome some current software issue, could add support for the selfie camera and ultra wide angle lens too.
That lens might have its aperture increased by around 35% to f/1.6.
Some say that, because the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max both support 5G, Apple had to upgrade the battery seriously to deal with the extra drain.
Apparently, the iPhone 12 Pro Max will have a 4,400 mAh battery, up from the 3,969 mAh one that powers the iPhone 11 Pro.
What about the bezels?
This most recent Apple leak says that you’ll have to contend with the notch on this model as well.
Apple is reportedly working on moving the FaceID system into the top bezels to get rid of the notch, but that won’t happen in 2020.
