KFC is back at it again! The fast-food chain company has been releasing gadgets to promote their business for a while now and it’s not about to stop. After launching a special edition Huawei phone, playing with facial recognition to predict meals and releasing an Internet escape pod for a hefty price, the company is about to make their customers happy with DIY, functional drones called KFO #actionmagic
Last year, KFC turned a chicken box into a Bluetooth game controller , giving a reason to keep their boxes after finishing the meal. Now, they’re upping their game for clients in India. The company has designed a special box for their newest menu item, Smoky Grilled Wings, that can be turned into a quadcopter.
The Kentucky Flying Object is meant to be build from cardboard and separate pieces provided by KFC. The instructions appear on the KFO official site, as well as the link towards the iOS and Android app. As you can imagine, this type of drone is controlled by your smartphone via app.
Once the drone is assembled, users can fly it easily thanks to Bluetooth connectivity.
The only problem is… KFO is limited edition. Only a select number of Smoky Grilled Wings will come with this box.
