Thanks to a Chinese leaker, we now have a couple of images that allegedly show the retail box of the OnePlus 6T. The photos were posted on Chinese social media platform Weibo and show a box that has all the logos and mottos in all the right places, though, even so, we cannot be 100% sure we are looking at a genuine retail box.
An interesting thing about it is the fact that there is an image printed on the inside of the box, which shows the OnePlus 6T design.
If the images are indeed genuine, judging by the print inside, we can say that the OnePlus 6T will have an in-display fingerprint sensor, thanks to the fingerprint icon on the screen.
We can also can clearly see the waterdrop notch that hosts the front-facing camera and that it will come with a much thicker bottom bezel than the top and the side ones.
Now, we have to remember that neither the OnePlus 6 or the OnePlus 5T had the underside of their retail boxes printed with the phone design, which throws a little doubt over how authentic the images actually are, but the source is known for its previously genuine leaks, so we can assume the OnePlus 6T might simply get a packaging upgrade.
