Lenovo Announces New Generation Lenovo Yoga Laptop Series

Lenovo has officially announced the new generation of premium Slim Yoga laptops with Windows 11, featuring an ultra-slim design. 

The flagship model is the 14-inch Yoga Slim 9i, a notebook that prides itself with a carbon neutral certification, intelligent features for productivity as well as a device that is also ideal for entertainment. There’s also the Yoga Slim 7i Pro X and Slim 7 Pro x models and the Yoga Slim 7i Carbon, which combines power with mobility and style. The series is completed by the 14 and 16-inch Yoga Slim 7 Pro, Yoga Slim 7i Pro and Yoga 7. Lenovo also introduced the Yoga AIO 7, a new 27-inch desktop PC with 4K resolution.

As a carbon neutral certified laptop, Yoga Slim 9i (14 inches) )is ideal for those looking for premium entertainment features as well as AI-enhanced performance. The slim laptop is coated in 3D glass and the 14.9mm chassis design features rounded contours, giving it an elegant look. The notebook integrates a 14-inch 16:10 up to 4K Pure Sight OLED touchscreen display with four Bowers & Wilkins speakers. The 4K OLED screen (optional) offers sharp details and rich, photorealistic colors.

The device is capable of delivering over a billion colors in a single pixel thanks to the Vesa Certified Display HDR True Black 500 certification. 

The  Yoga Slim 9i allows users to choose different portable performance modes based on Intel Evo with 12th Generation Intel Core processors. Lenovo AI Core 2.0 offers features enabled by AI and intelligent security, including hardware-level encryption that protect the device from ransomware attacks. In addition, the AI ​​engine can also adjust the fan speed to optimize and/or accelerate performance depending on the task being performed. 

Then we have, at less than 1.6kg, the Yoga Slim 7i Pro X (14  inches) and the Yoga Slim 7 Pro X (14 inches). Both laptops are equipped with next-generation processors, up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU. The two laptops both mount a 14.5-inch Lenovo PureSight 3K monitor with a 120 Hz refresh rate, with a very accurate color palette and rich tones. The cherry on the cake is the TÜV Hardware Blue Light3 certification that aims to reduce eye strain.

Next, we have the Yoga Slim 7i Carbon (13 inches), which combines extraordinary lightness at less than 1kg, with a 14.8mm chassis at its thinnest point. The body is made out of of aerospace-grade magnesium alloy reinforced with a carbon fiber multilayer. It comes in three modern bi-color options and an edge-to-edge keyboard with a large trackpad. The notebook is equipped with 12th Generation Intel Core processors, further boosted by self-adjusting fan speed and performance.

It features the Lenovo PureSight 13.3-inch 2.5K touchscreen with ultra-smooth 90Hz refresh rates and 16:10 higher aspect ratio. Lenovo PureSight Display offers a wide range of incredibly accurate colors and tones, calibrated hardware, 100% sRGB color space and 100% color volume with 8-bit color.

There is also an upgrade for the Yoga Slim 7 Pro and the Yoga Slim 7i Pro. These devices feature an elegant Storm Gray or Cloud Gray premium aluminum design, and come equipped with the latest generation Intel Core or AMD Ryzen 6000 series processors as well as an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 laptop GPU. 

They feature an optional Lenovo PureSight OLED display powered by Dolby Vision,  and a 100% sRGB color space.

Also available in Storm Gray is the larger Yoga Slim 7 Pro and the Yoga Slim 7i Pro. They are both equipped with a 2.5K IPS monitor up to 165 Hz for high fluidity gameplay and video editing. Yoga Slim 7 Pro features an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU, while the Yoga Slim 7i Pro features the Intel Arc A370M.

Finally, the Yoga AIO 7 is Lenovo’s new all-in-one desktop with a 27-inch 4K IPS narrow bezel display and 95% DCI-P3. The screen rotates up to 90 degrees and can be tilted at many different angles. The device has an AMD Ryzen 6000 series processor and you can also opt for an AMD Radeon RX 6600M graphics card. 

As you can imagine, the laptops won’t come cheap. The Lenovo Slim 9i has a starting price of $1,799, the Lenovo Slim 7i Pro X starts at $1,699, while the Slim 7 Pro X will start at $1,499.

The Lenovo Slim 7i Carbon on the other hand will cost $1,299 and the Lenovo Slim 7 Pro 14 with the AMD Ryzen 6000 Series processor will have a starting price of $1,499. Last but not least, the Slim 7i will make your wallet $1,199 lighter. 

The laptops will be released one by one over the course of the next 2 months.
