Lenovo announced its newest Android smartphone during an event that took place in Beijing yesterday: the Z5 Pro GT.

What makes this particular smartphone stand out from the crowd is the slider display which allows the users to hide the sensors under it. But the real reason why the phone is unique on the market right now is the 12GB worth of RAM and up to 512GB of storage it comes equipped with. The phone also happens to feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 855 chipset.

Even so, it’s worth noting that the device will not have 5G radio.

The Z5 Pro GT also stands out in color: it has a red metallic frame with fiery red rims around the cameras and a carbon fibre pattern beneath the glass on the rear.

It has a 6.39 inch 2,340 x 1,080 AMOLED display and a 16MP + 24MP camera setup on the back while the front sports a 16MP + 8MP one. There’s a 3,350mAh battery tucked inside, alongside NFC, dual nano SIM slots and a 3.5mm headphone jack dongle to fit the USB-C port.

The phone will only be available for pre-order starting January 15th, before the official release that will take place on the 24th.

As far as pricing goes, it will cost roughly around $390 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version, while the 12GB RAM + 512GB model will go as high as $640.
