CES 2021 is online this year, and even though we didn’t get to make the trip, exciting tech has been revealed. During LG’s keynote, the company gave us a glimpse of its first-ever rollable phone.
It was only a quick teaser, but it got everyone talking about it. The LG Rollable was first announced during the release of the LG Wing in September. Have a look at the teaser here:
The LG Rollable isn’t just a concept phone, sources close to the company report. The device will become available to the public later this year. There is not a lot of official data about the handset, but by the looks of it, LG is only giving out a little information at a time.
LG isn’t the first manufacturer to roll out a rollable phone, OPPO already having released a handset in China, using the same concept.
At CES 2021, TCL also showed off its 6.7-inch rollable phone that turns into a 7.8-inch tablet with “a simple tap of the finger.” Will this be the new normal?
