That’s right. Nintendo has announced that it has released a demo for the critically acclaimed metroidvania which released earlier this month. Available now on the Nintendo eShop, players will be able to try out Samus Aran’s journey to destroy the X parasites found on planet ZDR and escape.
Metroid Dread Is An Instant Classic, One Of The Switch’s Most Polished
The timing is a little strange for this announcement, as usually demos release before a game does in order to give fans a little taste of what they will be able to purchase soon after. However, they could also be playing into the spooky theme of the game with Halloween right around the corner. It could also be a way to attract a few more people to the game after positive reviews of the game have circulated the internet for the past month.
Regardless, Metroid Dread still stands as one of the best Nintendo Switch games released this year. It is a finely tuned game which elevates the metroidvania genre it helped spawn.
