Mint Mobile, the new carrier owned by celebrity Ryan Reynolds, has been making waves in the U.S. We’ve already discussed what it entails, including whether it’s the right choice for you, but a new feature from the provider might change your mind… or not. We’re talking about their recent family plans.
A family plan entails at least two and up to five lines that are under a single account instead of having five individual accounts.
You’ll be happy to know that this doesn’t mean every single line of those have to be the same type of plan.
You can decide to go for it with a bunch of buddies or family, of course, and get some perks in return. Mint Mobile says an family plan account owner can purchase additional months of service at discounted rates.
Even better, you can choose the annual plan (remember, they offer 3, 6, and 12 months plans) without having to pay the full sum up front, but rather in three-month increments.

At the end of day, the biggest selling point of Mint Mobile is that its plans become cheaper the longer you commit to them. Then, you have to take into consideration their 5G offer at no additional price, included hotspot in all plans and no loss of data when your data plan is all up.
