PC: Nintendo

Over the weekend, Nintendo released a tweet outlining some further changes coming to The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD.

In the short clip, players view one of the opening sequences of Skyward Sword where Link learns how to climb and jump. Instead of listening to lengthy banter, the sequences has been shortened (and made even faster with the dialogue fast-forward option) “to make for a smoother play experience, and to get you on your grand adventure to the surface world sooner.”

According to reports by Nintendo Life, the clip also indicates that there may also be a freely controlled camera.

In a previous video, Nintendo outlined several other major quality of life changes coming to Skyward Sword HD. These included optional Fi hints, fast-forwarding dialogue, skipping cut scenes, and less frequent item dialogue boxes.

With the game coming out in a couple of days, it certainly is not surprising that Nintendo continues to advertise the game. What is surprising is that there are so many quality of life updates for the Wii port, particularly for core issues players had with the original game.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD launches on Switch July 16th.
