The Z2 Play is getting a worthy successor with the Moto Z3 Play, though the recent leaked renders reveal that the flagship will no longer have a home button.
Evan Blass managed to get his hands on MotoZ3 renders, revealing that the anticipated device will also ditch the headphone jack.

That makes sense, since Moto Mods are still in the works, so buyers will be able to customize their phone with modules like the JBL snap-on speaker.
As expected, you can see in the pics a dual rear camera, which some people claim to be a combination of 12 MP + 8 MP lenses. The fingerprint scanner is side-mounted on the right, near the volume keys.
According to an FCC listing that’s been taken down, the Moto Z3 Play has a 6.1-inch display with HD+ resolution (2160 x 1080 px) and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the device is said to pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chip, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage expandable through microSD cards.
Previous rumors point towards a June reveal, so expect to hear more in the following weeks.
