Motorola has been rumored to launch a pair of Android One smartphones since a while ago but there’s barely been a peep about them in all this time, until now.
A report coming from 91mobiles brings in not only the press renders of one of the rumored Motorola devices -the Motorola One Power- but also detailed specifications.
The photo shows that the phone will have a notched display and two rear-facing cameras that are placed in a similar way to Apple’s iPhone X. According to the specifications in the leak, the handset will measure 6.18 inches and have an FHD+ resolution of 2246 x 1080 pixels.
It will have a 12-megapixel front facing camera that will come with an LED flash and the back cameras will be a 16 megapixel one and a 5 megapixel respectively. The handset will have a 3.5mm headphone jack and use nano coating to offer basic water resistance.
It is expected the device will use an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset coupled with either 3 or 4GB of RAM and 32 or 64GB of expandable internal memory. The battery will be pretty massive: 5000mAh, which probably justifies the ‘Power’ in the phone’s title.
The company is expected, thanks to previous links, to bring at least two smartphones to the international market under the Motorola One brand, as part of the Android One program. So far, the company has not made any official announcements.
