The PlayStation 5 has been a hit… for those who can get it. But one of the main features people have been talking about has been the DualSense controller. Well now, beyond the unique haptic feedback, there’s even more exciting news: new colors!
That’s right: Sony has just announced the DualSense controller will be coming in two new colors. Called “Cosmic Red” and “Midnight Black,” these colors add a nice splash of personality to the DualSense.
Both colors are inspired by the stars and the galaxy. As stated in the blog post, “Midnight Black features two subtly different shades of black with grey detailing to reflect how we view space through the night sky, and Cosmic Red offers a striking black and red design inspired by the unique vivid shades of red found throughout the cosmos.”
These controllers will be functionally the same as the classic DualSense.
According the PlayStation Direct, both the Cosmic Red and Midnight Black colors will be available starting June 11th, 2021.
