We recently report some issues the recent Nintendo Switch firmware update 12.0.3 has been causing for Switch users. In particular, users who downloaded the firmware have had trouble downloading and updating certain games, instead receiving Nintendo Switch Error 2123-1502.
However, it appears that the issue may have been fixed.
In a report by Nintendo Life, Nintendo may have fixed the error with a server side update. Reporting seem to be more colloquial than official as there have been no real updates from Nintendo about the specific issue (even though they did post generally about the maintenance work they did on June 20th).
Although Nintendo has yet to release an official statement on the issue, they have acknowledged it at least indirectly. When the firmware update first came out, the company quickly stopped its release only to quickly re-release it again.
Here’s to hoping that the issue has been resolved and similar issues do not arise.
