Nubia Z20 Is Coming To US and Europe This October

Nubia

After having wowed us with the dual screen Nubia X at CES 2019, the company is bringing its latest flagship, the Nubia Z20, globally this October.

The smartphone amazed when it was first unveiled in August with its 6.43 inch FHD display and no cutouts, no notches or any type of motorized cameras. On the back: a 5.1 touch display, full of features.

Users could choose how each screen operates, independently from the other and they can easily switch between games, messages, apps and everything else in between. It also featured a blue-light-blocking coating for those of you who still have their eyes glued to their screens even in the late hours of the night.

The back screen could double as an Always-On display and the users who are into gaming could custom map the on-screen triggers on the rear easily.

Red Magic’s Game Space hub also made an appearance so if you’re into mobile gaming, this might just be the smartphone for you.

As the aesthetic evolution of smartphones has stalled, Nubia is breaking down barriers on what a smartphone can be.” The company says, and we have to kind of give them this one: the phone is quite the stunner.

On the back, the Z20′ triple camera setup is made out of a 48MP main shooter with OIS, a 16MP wide-angle camera that has a 122.2 degree field of view and an 8MP telephoto camera that offers 3x optical zoom (up to 30x digital zoom) in order for you to get those perfect, clear shots from a distance.

But Nubia was not done: it decided to add support for 8K ultra-high definition in there, as well as for HDR10 10 bit video recording, just because it can.

In addition to all that, the Pro Mode (which boasts 2.5cm macro capabilities) also arrives alongside a Super Night Mode.

Under the hood sits the Snapdragon 855+ chipset, the same upgraded processor that is on the ASUS ROG Phone 2, accompanied by a 4,000mAh battery that offers up to 27w PD Fast Charge. The device has 8GB of RAM and 128GB worth of internal storage.

Look-wise, the phone has a mirror-polished metal frame and the elegant, curved glass features Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Now, the Nubia Z20 arrives to the U.S, Europe, Canada and UK on October 14th. What price tag will be attached to it, well, that remains to be seen, but we’ll keep you updated as soon as we find out.
