The OnePlus Nord 2 release date is fast approaching so we finally got a bit more insight into what the mid-range phone from OnePlus is going to bring. Plus, a first look at the device!
Renders of the OnePlus Nord 2, expected to come this summer, just dropped. They show the upcoming phone’s front, with a display interrupter by a single punch hole in the upper left corner. That means… no dual selfie camera for us!
There’s no telling how the back of the phone is going to look like right now but we do know a triple rear camera is in the works. The main camera will apparently be the same as the one on the OnePlus 9 Pro, so a Sony IMX766 with OIS coming along, too.
That’s the only good news about the rear camera, though. Expect the main lens to be accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP sensor.
The phone will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 and be covered in a 6.4-inch 90 Hz AMOLED screen. OnePlus confirmed it will come with OxygenOS 11 preinstalled, 2 major Android updates in the near future, and, for your peace of mind, 3 years of security updates.
When it comes to RAM and memory, OnePlus Nord 2 shouldn’t offer less than 8GB and 128GB of storage.
