The first smartphone from Oppo’s sub-brand, the Realme 1, is here and utilizes a lot of artificial intelligence (AI).
The Realme 1 is powered by the Helio P60 chipset with some AI perks for better performance when gaming. Additionally, AI is used to manage its 3,410 mAh battery by learning user’s usage habits and adjusting the power consumption accordingly.
The diamond-like back cover houses a 13 MP camera while the front display is a eye-opening 6-inch, 2160 x 1080 px screen with no notch. With its front camera, you can unlock the phone using facial unlock (with recognition times of less than 0.1 seconds) and apply plenty of beautification solutions to your selfies.
The 3GB RAM + 32GB storage version starts at around 112€ (~$130), while the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage goes for 175€ (~$200).
The Realme 1, however, is sold exclusively through Amazon India. It runs a unique Indian theme based on ColorOS 5.0 and is built on Android 8.1.
