Pikmin 3 Deluxe To Release on Switch October 30th

As Nintendo is wont to do, they shadow dropped a new game announcement. Coming October 30^th, Pikmin 3 Deluxe will bring the Pikmin series to the Nintendo Switch.

Pikmin is a Nintendo franchise centered around tiny human-like aliens who are searching the galaxy in order to find a way to save their planets. These aliens, most notably Captain Olimar, employ multi-color flower like creatures called Pikmin in order to overcome obstacles and defeat bug-like monsters. Olimar and Alph appear in the Super Smash Bros. series using these titular Pikmin.

Pikmin 3 originally released on the Wii U. According to the official Nintendo website, Pikmin 3 Deluxe will be an enhanced port of the original. This version will add new difficulty options, co-op story mode, and new story content as well as all the DLC from the original game.

Information on the fabled Pikmin 4 has yet to be announced, but with Pikmin 3 being ported over from the Wii U, there are few game left that haven’t made it over to the Switch.
