Quordle, One of the Most Fun Wordle Clones, Was Just Bought By Merriam-Webster

If you love Wordle and all the Wordle clones available now, take a look at Quordle, a very fun spin on the original concept.

Developed by Freddie Meyer, the game was just acquired by Merriam-Webster, which means it will probably get a lot more updates.

This game works just like Wordle but, instead of having six guesses for single, five letters-words, you have to guess four words at the same time, with only nine tries. Fortunately, each guess applies to all of the words so it’s not as difficult as you might think.

On the website, Meyer posted an update for Quordle fans that read “I’m delighted to announce that Quordle was acquired by Merriam-Webster! I can’t think of a better home for this game. Lots of new features and fun to come, so stay tuned!”.

There’s also the Wordle official party game from New York Times, if you want some old-school, offline fun with your friends.
