If you’re on the smartwatch bandwagon, more specifically the Galaxy Watch 4 one, you’ll be able to do something pretty neat: send voice messages to other users as if you’re using walkie-talkies.
Samsung enabled their latest smartwatches, the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, to access a WalkieTalkie app. Now, surprisingly, this isn’t a third-party app but one developed by the South Korean company itself.
The app is on Play Store and allows users of the two watches to talk to each other directly, without going through a messenger app or trying to use workarounds.
It also allows people to group multiple contacts in channels to talks between them as if they were in a tag team, on the field.
To use it, you only need a Samsung account and installing the app itself from Play Store. To note, Tizen-based smartwatches are not compatible with the app.
