We’re long past the pigeon post era, now catching up on mail with postmen and e-mail, online, of course. Australia Post has found a new way to deliver mail that does not require human or animal help. Drones are their new small package carriers #actionmagic
Australia has succesfully ended a field-test that makes drones perfect to deliver time-sensitive goods such as food, medication and other fragile but light things. This one was a closed-to-public success, but the post office is keen on making the first trial delivers later this year.
Unfortunately, drones won’t be able to reach coast-to-coast home, rather focusing on large towns but not the village surrounding them. The simply don’t have the range to do that.
